½cuprolled oats(Use gluten-free if needed; see notes)
¼cuplightly salted cocktail peanuts
⅓teaspoonvanilla extract
pitted date or Stevia(only if needed for sweetness)
½cupice(If using a frozen banana or frozen strawberries, just use 5 cubes.)
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Blend until you cannot detect the texture of the oats.
Notes
You can use a frozen banana if the strawberries aren't frozen. Or, use frozen berries with a fresh banana. Using two kinds of frozen fruit will make the smoothie too thick and difficult to blend.If ½ cup of oats is too much fiber for you, you can use ⅓ cup. Don't use steel-cut oats here, because they're too coarse and won't blend in well.
