PASTA FAZOOL  (PASTA E FAGIOLI) 

Pasta Fazool takes  30 minutes and is so easy!

 "Pasta Fazool"  is similar  to the pronunciation  of "pasta e fasule,"   the Neapolitan dialect  for Pasta e Fagioli.

They both  mean  "pasta and beans!"

Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 25 minutes

If you don't have tomato paste,  cut up a fresh tomato instead. 

Sauté onions  with tomato paste. Stir in the garlic, beans, herbs, salt and pepper.

Measure the water before adding it. Bring to a boil. Cook the pasta  but don't drain it.  Stir in Parmesan. 

Serve immediately, because  the leftovers  will dry out.
